At the AT&T press event during CES today, Microsoft announced some of the new 4G LTE Windows Phones. Among them are the The HTC Titan II which runs on AT&T’s 4G LTE network and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor by Qualcomm. Stephen Elop, chief executive officer, Nokia, also took the stage to announce that AT&T would be the exclusive carrier for Nokia’s first ever 4G LTE Windows Phone in the U.S, more details of which will be delivered during the Nokia conference later today.

Android phones have got the 4G juice for a while now, but have been plagued with battery life, and other issues. Only time well tell to see whether or not the lightweight Windows Phone OS will make a difference in the battery life.

Jobs has had a serious of health problems across the recent years and that forced him to take long periods of absence from the company. Jobs announced in January that he was taking a medical leave and told his employers “I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can.”

Job’s leaving quote remarked ”I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come,” Jobs said
He also spoke after the following words ”Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it,” and that he looks forward to contributing as Apple’s chairman of the board, director, and as an Apple employee if the board allows it.

I can imagine that he was pretty upset of leaving the company as apple has revolutionized the technology world why Steve has been in charge but hopefully the new director can bring some new things to the table maybe better than Steve but we will have to wait and see

Tim cook joined apple in 1998 and was promoted apple coo in 2004 and has been Steve Job’s right hand man, following up shareholders meetings and earnings/taking calls with Wall Street investors.Whats new for apple we’ll have to wait and see.

Desks have always been classified as a place where someone would sit and work. Not much ‘fun’ would happen there. However, there are lots of small toys nowadays that can help you not only noodle around, but think more creatively (and possibly distract you from your work). Remember when you were young they’d give you those waxy sticks to play with so you’d sit still? Well, these are virtually the same.

There’s one problem with these toys; there are so many of ‘em! My mission is to find the best. Over the next month or two, I’ll be reviewing products such as Zen Magnets, Crazy Aaron’s Putty and more. Please stay tuned for lots of fun with Mission TimeWasters.

I mean, let’s be honest… who doesn’t like toys?

When you get your account, you can give up to five invites to other people.  That means you could invite your friends to eightbit.me, and they would have their own account where they can give invites to up to five people, and so on.

Even though the whole eightbit icon fad is slowly fading out, I still think this is a very cool website, and I can’t wait to see what they will add to the site.

Sony have announced that they will soon be releasing professional OLED monitors that will sell for a huge sum of money.

What makes these screens so expensive is the superior picture it produces compared to LCD. The screen is said to have much richer and deeper colors and OLED screens have pixels that contain an organic material that emits its own light, so screens using the technology can be made thinner than LCDs and are more power efficient. They have a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and a 178-degree viewing angle.

It is aimed to replace monitors in editing bays and broadcasting control rooms where precision colors are very important. But does this excuse the large price tag?

The 25″ model will run you an easy $28,840 and the 17″ is at an affordable $15,550.

I think I will buy the 25″.
