Archos has just announced 2 new Home Tablets: the Archos 7 and the Archos 8. Both of these devices run Android and cost about $200. The specs include a 600MHz ARM 9 processor, 2GB of RAM, and WiFi connectivity. The battery lasts for 7 hours when watching video and 44 hours when listening to music. The Archos 7 will come out in April and the Archos 8 will come out in May. Here’s what they look like:

Google has just released a cool new social networking tool called Google Buzz. This new tool is built right in to your Gmail interface and is basically Google’s Twitter. Tomorrow, Google is planning on releasing a cool new social media product. This new feature is supposedly going to enable you to view media and status updates from your Gmail account. The Google event starts tomorrow morning so make sure to tune in and find out what the heck Google is unveiling. Of course, if you can’t watch live, we’ll be blogging our heads off for you guys after we get home from school.

The guys over at TechCrunch are reporting that Facebook is working on a full-scale email service to replace the current Facebook messaging system. According to Michael Arrington, this service will support POP and IMAP. Users will also get to have a custom @facebook address. The codename: Project Titan. We’ll update you when we get more information on this Facebook email service.
