CNET has heard that Netflix will be rolling out 1080p and 5.1 surround sound to their streaming service later this year. The bandwidth necessary is not known yet but Zune has a similar service that uses 3 mbps of bandwidth. The one big question is what content will be available. Gizmodo points out that only 6 percent of the current video list is in HD. We’ll just have to see what happens.
