Sony was originally going to release the update sometime this year but it seems that they needed until the summer to get everything ready.
Original Xbox Will Lose Xbox Live on April 15th
![]()
Microsoft has decided to pull the plug on the Xbox Live service for original Xbox games. This includes the original games on the Xbox 360 and on the original Xbox. Lets say you downloaded an original Xbox game onto your 360. You will still have the ability to play the game but you can’t use the online features. This will really annoy some of the hardcore Halo 1 and 2 fans but Microsoft wants to move them over the 360. This will not affect any Xbox 360 titles.
