Apple recently told us that the iPad will be shipping on April 3rd, and now they have an ad to go along with it. This is a pretty self explained ad but the interesting thing is that it premiered at the Oscars. Just click the link above to watch the new iPad ad.

Apple has just lowered the price of the Mac Developer Program. This allows you to get all the new versions of OS X without using a torrent. Previously, this cost $500 to $3500. For all you guys that just have to try out the new versions OS X, this might be for you.

Apple has just announced that the iPad will be available starting on April 3rd. Preorders for the WiFi version will start on March 12th. The 3G version will be coming out in late April. iPads will be available in all countries at the end of April, as well. Here is the pricing info:

The iTunes Store has been a large success no matter how you look at it. Apple has been riding it all the way to the bank since they started and they have hit another one of their major milestones: 10,000,000,000 song downloads. Google pays Apple 100 million dollars a year for their exclusivity on the iPhone. Microsoft has been rumored to be in negotiation with Apple to get Bing to the iPhone. Google pays so much that it is no wonder that there has not been much competition until now. Yahoo is a secondary option so it might be interesting to see how much they pay compared to Google.
