Breaking the Kickstarter Funding Record – The Elevation Dock

Scott Wilson’s extremely popular LunaTik iPod Nano watch kit raised a record-breaking $940,000 dollars on KickStarter, a site that helps startups get funded. Wilson’s LunaTik tablet stylus has also seen success, but not to the iPod Nano watch kit’s degree.

The Elevation Dock, designed by Casey Hopkins, is also one of the most popular KickStarter projects ever, and has almost topped LunaTik’s record. For those of you who don’t know what the Elevation Dock is, it’s an elegantly designed dock that allow for the smooth removal of your iPhone with only one hand. They’ve got just under 70 hours left to earn another $14,000, and you can help them out at their KickStarter page here.
