Let’s Crate: “Rediculously Easy File Sharing”

A cool little website called Let’s Crate caught my eye the other day. Let’s Crate is fundamentally like other file sharing applications such as Dropbox, with a twist. The idea of this website is to make uploading and sharing files a very fast process. Unlike Dropbox, or Box.net, you don’t have to create tons of folders and tweak other settings to upload files; you just drag files into the window, and a link pops out seconds later. Easy right? I managed to snag a lifetime premium plan on AppSumo the other day for just $20, but Let’s Crate offers plans ranging from 1GB to 600GB. The free plan is interesting, however it limits file uploads to 50MB. Personally, I think their plans are quite expensive, as nowadays you can get 25GB of free space on Skydrive for example, but the simplicity of Let’s Crate is definitely a winner in my book.
