Apple Blocks Sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia
Kyle | August 04, 2011 08:41 PM Tags: Android , Apple , iPad ,Lawsuit ....As we know, Apple is trying to sue Samsung for their products being “copies” of Apple’s products. Samsung is also counter-suing Apple with pretty much the same claims. Apple has gone a step further asking to see Sammy’s upcoming products and block the sales of their products.
Bloomberg states, “The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 infringes 10 Apple patents, including the “look and feel,” and touchscreen technology of the iPad says one of Apple’s lawyers… Samsung, based in Suwon, South Korea, agreed to stop advertising the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia and not to sell the device until it wins court approval or the lawsuit is resolved, according to an accord reached by lawyers during a break in the hearing. Should Apple lose its patent infringement lawsuit, it agreed to pay Samsung damages, which weren’t specified.“
Now what do you think? Is Apple just going to far to try to get rid of one of their competitors? Are they just being bad sports? Do you think Apple will ever block the sales in the US?

* Countersuing - Verb. to sue someone back who is suing you. (I just made that up!)
