Today at the HTC Press conference, HTC announced a new phone, the HTC Sensation. This bad boy will pack TMobile’s 4G signal, and a 1.2ghz dual-core processor. It’s one of HTC’s thinnest phones which makes it a real competitor in the smartphone industry. It has a 8 megapixel camera which is capable of 1080P video. HTC has really gone to work on the media front, giving this phone a 16:9 screen and 1080P video out. It also has a VGA front facing camera. Like the iPhone, the Sensation has a gyro sensor.
On the software front, the Sensation has Android 2.3 Gingerbread. HTC has also put in their new Sense 3.0 skin/software which will work well with it’s processor. No word on price yet, but hopefully it shouldn’t be long before we get some more information. That being said, we know this phone is dropping in the summer in the U.S.
