The iPad 2 is just around the corner, and the rumor mill is churning about predictions on the next iPad. Today, I’m going to give you my predictions for the iPad 2.

Appearance

The iPad 2 has had one main “look” since it was supposedly leaked. The speaker is the bottom left of the device, and it has a camera on the top. It’s much thinner than the previous version, but the main ports and mostly in the same places. One thing that I think it will also have is some sort of USB port. I don’t think the iPad will have a Thunderbolt port because it is too big, and is sort of unnecessary in a tablet. The front of the device will be the same, except for a camera. It is a possibility that it will have less bezel around the edges, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Software

With all these new Android tablets, I think that Apple will have to revamp the iPad’s main interface. iOS has had the same main interface for many years, but it’s starting to look a little old compared to a device like the Motorola Xoom. It’s a long shot, but I really thing that it’s time for change.

Overall

Overall, I can’t wait to see what Apple has in store for Wednesday. I think that the price points will be the same, but it might get a little cheaper (or expensive). I do have high expectations because of how good the Xoom looks, but if they pull the right strings, I can see a really nice tablet. What are you expecting from the Apple event? Will you be getting the next iPad? Leave some comments down bellow!
