Apple is Redoing iOS Notifications

According to an article on Cult of Mac, Apple is redoing their horrible notifications system and purchasing a small company, presumably Boxcar, to help them do it.

Late much, Apple?

Last year there were rumors of notifications improving when Apple acquired the main Palm designer. Nothing happened then either. Rumors are rumors, I suppose. Although, I actually wouldn’t be too surprised if this one comes to pass, considering all of the Apple rumors coming true lately.
