According to the Wall Street Journal, the next iPad (iPad 2) is now in the making. They say:
“The new iPad will be thinner and lighter than the first model, these people said. It will have at least one camera on the front of the device for features like video-conferencing, but the resolution of the display will be similar to the first iPad, these people said. It will also have more memory and a more powerful graphics processor, they said.” (Read more here.)
One thing is missing, though; where’s the retina? This has been added to the iPod Touch 4th Generation and the iPhone 4, but not on the iPad. In my opinion, retina on the iPad would be amazing with the big display it has.
For those wondering about the pricing, here’s some more information that they posted.
“The new iPad is expected by Apple watchers to debut in the next couple of months at a similar price range as the current iPad, though exact details couldn’t be learned. It currently costs between $499 and $829.” (Read more here.)
The iPad 2 is most likely going to be on Verizon and AT&T, but no news about T-Mobile or Sprint.
Are you going to get the iPad 2? Should it have a retina display? Comment below!
