Send to KindleThis is a first look at the G-Slate tablet by LG, with all the tablets on the market today it’s hard to stand out but the G-Slate has some pretty good stats! It’s equip with a dual-core Tegra 2 chipset, 8.9-inch 3D display, and a 3D camera, it also runs on T-Mobile’s 21mbps HSPA+ network. Having the Tegra 2 chipset allows it to play HD video and 3D content on the display, the rear camera is a five-megapixel stereoscopic 3D camera capable of recording 3D video in 1080p resolutioand gives you the ability to send the video to a TV or external display. Keep in mind all the 3D content will require the glasses.
The G-Slate has a built in stand to hold it up in landscape mode very similar to the HTC EVO, it also features a 2 megapixel front camera for video conferencing and has 32gb of built in storage. To keep up with all the games and applications these days it has a gyroscope and accelerometer built in. They have not spoke of price or release dates but they did say it will be evaluable for purchase sometime this spring.
