YouTube To Integrate Facebook & Twitter Comments
Zack | January 27, 2011 08:38 AM Tags: YouTubeOn YouTube’s blog today, we discovered that some new features might appear on the site over the coming weeks. As we all know, YouTube have been updating their website substantially in the last month and this could be another ‘improvement’.
we should have seen this coming when Google bought fflick, a Twitter orientated movie recommendation service, for over $10 million.
YouTube are said to be integrating Facebook and Twitter updates in the comments, to ultimately expand the site.
This is a smart move by Google, considering that Facebook sharing and video tweets prove to substantially improve the amount of overall views on any giving video. I’m not sure how exactly they will integrate this, but I do think that they will have to thread carefully, and not upset the current (and in my opinion perfect) comment section.
