Nintendo 3DS Coming to the US March 27th for $249.99

We saw the 3DS a while back but now we actually have a release date for the device (in the US and Europe). The price of the 3DS in the US will be $249.99 and it will available March 27th over in the States, and the 25th in Europe. European pricing will be “decided by retailers”.

As far as games go, Nintendo says that there will be over 30 games at launch. Hey, maybe we’ll even get a peak at a 3D Mario game. Here are some games that were announced for the launch: Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D, Dead or Alive Dimensions, Rabbids 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations. With the new 3D technology, developers can really let loose their creativity so we should be seeing some really interesting games over the next several months.
