The moment has finally come. The most popular yet, even if extremely outdated, Twitter client for the Mac has updated after what seems like an eternity to 2.0. Since Loren Britcher, developer of the ever so popular Tweetie, joined the Twitter team (and changed Tweetie to Twitter for iPhone and developed Twitter for iPad), there had been no news on Tweetie for Mac 2, even if he had promised us one a long time ago. But now it’s back, and it’s got a shiny new name and beautiful new UI- Meet Twitter for Mac.
The people at RazorianFly got their hands on the above screenshot, and apparently it comes from within Apple-which means that person will be in big, big trouble if they ever catch them.
I’m not going to lie when I say I’m awfully excited, especially since I’ve been a Tweetie user from the start.
