At today’s Logitech event, we received a bunch of new info about the Revue Google TV box. Pre-orders for the Revue begin today at the price of $299, although if you’re with Dish Network you’ll only pay $179. One of the Revue’s niftiest features is it’s full QWERTY keyboard controller which also includes a D-pad and a touchpad ($99). The other option is to get the miniature version of this controller which utilizes the Logitech Harmony remote’s technology ($129). So that’s already 2 different options for controlling Revue. But WAIT! There’s also a mobile controller app for Android and iPhone! The app allows for touch and swipe gestures as well as voice commands. One of the coolest things about the the Revue is that if you purchase the HD webcam accessory ($149) you can video chat with it! People at the event said that the service works great and can be used on any internet connection above 1 Mbps. There are also lots of cool apps and various plugins for Revue that make it even more irresistible. You can pre-order one today for $299 here: http://bit.ly/a1hFEp. That product page will also give you tons more information about the Logitech Revue.
Update: We’ve also just received word that Hulu and Google are currently negotiating and are attempting to bring Hulu Plus to Google TV. Hurray!
