Apple has announced the redesign of the iPod Nano which now looks more like a touchscreen iPod Shuffle. The Nano now has a touchscreen interface which is very similar to that of the iPod Touch’s. It has a clip on the back like the shuffle and is now 46 percent smaller and 42 percent lighter.
There are hard volume buttons on the top as well as a sleep/wake button. The iPod Nano comes in 7 colors including a Product Red option. The prices are $149 for 8GB and $179 for 16GB of storage. Just like the new iPod Touch, the new Nano is available for pre-order today, and it will ship next week.
