New Xbox 360 controller coming on September 9th

Hurray! There’s a brand new 360 controller and it looks super cool! What does this new controller bring to the table? Well, you’ve got a cool new design that features a sleek silver look as well as some new button colors. Well… I guess you could say lack of colors. The physical design of it is pretty cool as well. Besides having a more comfortable all-around feel, you’ll find a cool new “twist” to the original D-pad. Simply rotate the base of the D-pad and the cross will raise up for easier access to the directional controls.

The only bad thing we’ve come across is that the controller will only be available bundled in the Play and Charge kit which launches on September 9th. The price is $64.99. Here is Major Nelson’s announcement video:
