As Verizon Wireless releases its newest addition to the Droid family, issues with the phone have already begun to arise. Many reports are coming in with dismayed customers wondering why the signal is dropping to zero. It appears that even just touching the phone in the wrong place can result in a dropped signal. Now, the million dollar question arises, is this as serious as the iPhone’s issue? Fortunately the answer appears to be a relieving no, however many are concerned that the issue is tied in to the hardware on the device, or Verizon’s network. Will your handset be affected? No one is certain, but rest assured this issue appears to be dependent on rigorous amounts of data traffic on the network, software glitches, etc, and could be fixed in a simple OTA update. This is good news for all of us on the network. Verizon has always been resilient, and only time will tell, as Verizon still remains America’s "most reliable" network.
