Microsoft confirms Windows 7 tablets in 2010

After nothing but disappointment with the HP Slate and the Microsoft Courier, Steve Ballmer has confirmed that there will be plenty of Windows 7 tablets buy the end of 2010. He released this information at today’s Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. Along with confirming the existence of the tablets, Ballmer noted that companies such as Dell, Samsung, Toshiba, Asus and Sony have already partnered with MS to begin manufacturing them. I for one am excited to see some of these tablets and it looks as if we might be given a sneak peek pretty soon here from WPC.
