Apple’s Mac Mini desktop computer got a pretty significant upgrade today. The base configuration now starts at $699 and includes a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB Hard Drive. The big news is that Apple has included an HDMI port on the new Mini’s along side with their Mini Display Port. Other new upgrades for the Mac Mini include built-in 802.11n WiFi, an SD card reader, and an NVIDIA GeForce 320M chip.

For $999, you can up the specs a bit with 2 500GB HDDs, 4GB of RAM, a 2.66GHz Processor, and Snow leopard Server. Unfortunately, with the advanced configuration, the optical drive must be dropped in order to fit the second Hard Drive.

Want to buy one? Well they’re available today at http://www.apple.com/macmini/.
