As fantastic as Windows 7 is, some users still feel like they want more control. The answer? A hidden feature in Windows 7 that people are now calling “God Mode.” Essentially it’s a giant list of every single different setting you can change in Windows 7. All of the different menus, forms, and tweaks can be accessed through God Mode. To enable it, just do the following:

  • Create a new folder anywhere on your computer
  • Name it this: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  • Hit Enter

Now when you open up this folder you’ll have access to a ton of options and menus that were previously either hidden or scattered al throughout the operating system. It’s actually a pretty handy tool.
