Apple Event Update

There have been some really exciting announcements at the Apple event. Let’s bring you up to speed.

Here are some of the cool things that have been announced:

1. The iPod classic has been bumped up to 160GB  with the same $249 price

2. A new generation of iPod Touches have been released and a new 64GB model has been added to the line. The prices have been dropped as well.

3. A new, cheaper, more colurful iPod Shuffle. They now start at just $59 for a 2GB model and $79 for a 4GB. They come in pink, blue, and green in addition to the original black and white models. You can also get a stailess-steel Shuffle for $100.

4. A new 5th generation iPod Nano with a built-in video camera (apparently it can’t shoot still photos). The 8GB model will cost $149 and the 16GB model will cost $179. It will also include some cool features like an FM tuner and pedometer.

5. Also, iTunes 9 is now available! It has some cool new features like improved store navigation and better App management tools. Oh yeah, and iTunes 9 also breaks Palm Pre syncing (again).
