Wii Motion Plus and Wii Sports Resort: Should you buy them?

Nintendo recently released the Wii Motion Plus along with Wii Sports Resort which is basically a remake of Wii Sports that is specially designed for use with the Wii Motion Plus accessory. You can buy the game and controller bundle for $50. A lot of people have been wondering if they should get the accessory and what advantages it actually provides.Today I thought I’d do a small written review that goes over some of the details of Wii Motion Plus.

What the accessory actually does is more accurately trace motions in 3-D space by better orienting the controller. This makes your motions more precise and enhances your gaming experience.

Wii Sports Resort is a remake of the original Wii Sports game. It takes place on an island resort (hence the name) and features all the original games from Wii Sports and more.

The Wii Motion Plus and Wii Sports Resort are both pretty cool. The only problem is, Wii Sports Resort is the only game that really takes advantage of the Motion Plus. In the future there will be more games that accompany the accessory better though.

Overall I think that if you have the money, go head and get the bundle. If you don’t want to spend the $50 then it’s no big deal seeing as Wii Sports Resort is the only game that really needs uses the Motion Plus. You can buy the bundle right now at www.amazon.com.
