Nikon just unveiled two new camera models: the D3000 and the D300s. The D300s will cost about $1800 (body only) and include a 12.3 megapixel DX sensor, 51-point autofocus, and the ability to shoot 24 fps 720p HD video. It even features a external mic input. The D3000 is an entry-level DSLR costing about $600. Compared to the D300s it’s not that interesting. It has a 10.2 mega-pixel sensor and an 11-point AF system. It also features a cool new Guide Menu that makes it really easy for  beginners to operate their camera.
